It is with sincere appreciation that the Board of Directors of Ronald McDonald House Charities of New Mexico announces that the fundraising goal of $3,000,000 has been reached, thus satisfying the requirements of the three outstanding challenge grants. The total raised to date is $3,050,665, and we are hopeful that more gifts will be forthcoming from foundations and individuals who are still considering our proposals.

"What an incredible feeling it is to reach this milestone" said Sam Giammo, Chairman of the Board. "Every member of the board and steering committee has worked diligently for the past 18 months to ensure that the funding was in place to expand the Ronald McDonald House. It is extremely heartening that we have raised more than we intended since our project costs are about 8% higher than anticipated due to increased construction costs and some unanticipated site work."

During the campaign many generous donors chose to sponsor areas in the House where we will place a dedication plaque. A list of donors with dedicated rooms is listed below. We thank these donors for their support and are honored to have their dedications for perpetuity.

Naming Opportunities Still Available

There are still some wonderful naming opportunities left for anyone wishing to leave a permanent legacy at the Ronald McDonald House. Dedicating a room is a meaningful way to honor or celebrate a family member, business, or civic club, and rooms may be paid for over time (up to three-year pledges).
