La-Z-Boy Comfort Arrives at the House

June 23 - La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries arrives at the Ronald McDonald House.

Associates from the Albuquerque La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries store deliver more than four pieces of furniture to the House. The loveseats, chairs and ottomans will be the first of many donated pieces in an effort to bring comfort to the families who visit the House.

Ryan Beld, who recently joined the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries in Albuquerque as the Sales Manager and his daughter Kaeleigh interview with the Face of Fox Michael Junchaya. Kaleigh underwent treatment at The Children's Hospital in Colorado for a rare cancerous tumor and had the privelege of staying at the Ronald McDonald House during that time.

The La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery team show off the bright and cheerful furniture that will be used for rest and relaxation in the two Solarium Rooms in the House.

June 9 - The Bank of America Charitable Foundation, Inc. was pleased to provide a grant to RMHC-NM in the amount of $5,000. A check was presented to Sandy DuBrock, chairman of the board by Craig Hall of Bank of America and RMHC-NM board member.

May 18- 61 new beds donated by Tempur-Pedic were delivered to the House on Tuesday. Volunteers from the U.S. Navy, UNM JROTC and Tempur-Pedic helped unload and set up 40 new full beds and 21 twin beds.
