Each of the 18 fully furnished guestrooms at the New Mexico Ronald McDonald House has a private bath, a full and a twin sized bed, a television with VCR, bedside lamp and clock radio. All rooms contain appropriate bedding and towels.

To underscore its home-away-from-home environment, the House has a communal living room and kitchen as well as common dining and laundry areas. Several times per week, volunteer groups prepare or deliver dinner for the families. Other meals are the responsibility of the families.

The House does offer a pantry full of donated non-perishable items, and a communal refrigerator stocked with milk, eggs, and other perishable items when contributed. Families are welcome to eat these foods whenever they wish.
