PAULA M. WILLIAMS NAMED CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER FOR RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF NEW MEXICO

Albuquerque – December 10, 2021 – Paula M. Williams will join Ronald McDonald House Charities® of New Mexico as Chief Operating Officer, effective December 22. Williams will serve as a key leadership team member and an active participant in making strategic decisions and managing the organization’s daily operations and administrative functions. This role includes overall responsibility for mission delivery, including Family Services, Facilities Management, Human Resources & Financial Management, Information Technology, and Program Development.

“Paula brings many years of community engagement and nonprofit management experience to this position. In addition, she has a long-term personal commitment to children’s health and community partnership-building,” said Jessica Wright, Chief Executive Officer.

After teaching in Maryland for five years, Paula spent the next twenty years developing her leadership skills as a member and then president of the Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors, as the Executive Director of the Central New Mexico Komen for the Cure®, and as an administrator at Albuquerque Academy. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, exercising, following Penn State sports, and spending time with her family, particularly her husband Dave, son Mike, and his fiancé Amanda. She has a BS in Elementary Education from the Pennsylvania State University and an MA in Educational Leadership from the University of New Mexico.
